Trinity typically offers several special education opportunities and resources during the seasons of Lent (approximately February-April) and Advent (most of December). During these times, Trinity will offer special daily devotionals that can be used to reach deeply into the season and help you live into the time of leading up to Christ’s birth (Advent) and Christ’s resurrection (Lent).
Sundays March 10 – April 7
9:30am in the Chapel
Leader: Pastor Mark
We’re familiar with the story of Jesus’ Passion from years of reading and listening during the season of Lent. During Sundays in Lent we’re going to go to the ancient land of Israel and see the places were Jesus traveled on his journey to the cross that we have read and heard about. Through the medium of video, Ray Vander Laan, a historian and theologian, will be our tour guide as he weaves together the Bible’s fascinating historical, cultural, religious and geographical contexts. We invite you to join us as the stories come alive in the context of the land.
The tour schedule is as follows:
Jerusalem – City of the Great King (I)
Jerusalem – City of the Great King (II)
Jericho to Jerusalem – Palm Sunday
Garden of Gethsemane – The Weight of the World
The Cross and the Garden Tomb – Roll Away the Stone
