A Joy-filled Women’s Retreat

Trinity’s Women gather for a Women’s Retreat every year, typically in February or March. Women's Retreat Every other year, we spend a full weekend away (Friday night to Sunday morning) at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park in a Reunion Cabin.  On the opposite years, we spend a day (typically a Saturday) in Trinity’s fellowship hall.  Each retreat is filled with times of prayer, fun, laughter, study, crafts, food, and more!  It’s as much a retreat from life as it is a retreat to learn and grow in our faith together.

2016’s Women’s Retreat is at the YMCA of the Rockies in a Reunion Cabin in Estes Park again (just like we did last year in February).  This one is:

Friday-Sunday, March 11th-13th.  Friday evening to Sunday morning.  Cost is the same as last year, $110/adult for all weekend and we do have Saturday ONLY as an option if that helps, too.

Our theme this year is Passover: Discovering our Jewish Heritage as we get ready for Holy Week.  We will learn about Jewish history, what Jesus was doing as a Jew in Jerusalem the week before he was crucified (hint, celebrating the Passover).  We will be doing a Seder Meal on Saturday evening.  The time will include a chunk of free time  on Saturday for snowshoeing or shopping in Estes or roller skating, or whatever you want and we’ll have fun crafts and healthy food, too!  We do finish late on Saturday night so you can get up and leave early on Sunday AM if you wish to.  The Seder Meal, which will end later on Saturday with Communion, will be our worship time together.  We also have a plan for snorers, early risers, and night owls this year.

Registration form copies are available in the narthex.  We ask that all registrations are turned in with a $50 non-refundable deposit by Sunday, February 7th so we can start planning for our numbers, etc.  We do hope to limit the cabin sleepers to 34 so we can ensure everyone has a bed to sleep in, but most sleepers will likely be sharing a queen bed with another women or be in a bunk bed.  We plan to have only 4 in a room except for the bunk bed room of 6.

Hope you will consider joining us!  And feel free to invite other women to join us: friends, co-workers, neighbors, sisters, etc.  We already have about 10 women signed up to go so you don’t want to miss out!
