Trinity offers Sunday Morning Christian Education for all ages. In addition to Sunday School for youth, Trinity offers an Adult Education Class at 9:15 am in Trinity’s Chapel. Led by Pastor Mark, this class studies various topics, often in continuing block segments over a series of weeks. Studies may include timely topics of Christianity, historical deep-dives into the “why” behind our faith and worship, or exploring our spiritual practice and relationship with Christ. Additional materials may be available for purchase with specified classes.
We are Easter People
So, How Do We Live Like It?
Sundays: May 7, 14
Leader: Pastor Mark
“Jesus’ resurrection is the beginning of God’s new project not to snatch people away from earth to heaven but to colonize earth with the life of heaven.” – N.T. Wright, “Surprised by Hope”
Some of the questions the resurrection of Jesus raises up include:
- If we are Easter People, what does it mean to live like it?
- If Lent is a time to give things up, is Easter a time to take things up?
- If Calvary means putting to death things in your life that hold you back from flourishing as a Christian and as a truly human being, then does Easter mean planting, watering, and training up things in your life (personal and corporate) that ought to be blossoming, filling the garden with color and perfume and in due course bearing fruit?
Using several different resources we will take a look at what it means to us to live resurrected lives as Easter People. Come join the discussion.
Adult Education opportunities are also available during the week:
WEDNESDAY MID-WEEK ADULT EDUCATION Led by Pastor Mark, this is an opportunity to grow deeper in our Christian faith which ultimately informs how we live in community.
