Trinity typically offers several special education opportunities and resources during the seasons of Lent (approximately February-April) and Advent (most of December).  During these times, Trinity will offer special daily devotionals that can be used to reach deeply into the season and help you live into the time of leading up to Christ’s birth (Advent) and Christ’s resurrection (Lent).

Sundays during 2018 Lent

The scripture readings this Lenten season invite us to repent and hear the Gospel in its “ideal form.” Beginning with Ash Wednesday we anticipate during Lent what the call to repentance opens us toward, the ways in which “God is not done with us yet.” As we participate in the disciplines of Lent, Prayer, Fasting, and Acts of Love, we prayerfully make space for God to do something in us.

  • We cannot know what our prayer will do in us, until we allow God to speak to us first.
  • We cannot know what our fasting will do in us, until we allow God to feed us.
  • We cannot know what our acts of love will look like until we release our love to God and see what God does with it.

Come and let God work in you.
