Children's Educational Opportunities

Sunday School: Trinity offers Sunday School for all childre, ages 3 - High School on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Sunday school begins with opening at 9:15 and youth are in age-related classrooms at 9:30 a.m.

Bible Sunday : To help parents fulfill their baptismal promise to their children to "place into their hands the Holy Scriptures" and "provide for their instruction in the Christian faith," the Education Committee presents Bibles to our 3rd and 6th graders in early September. The 3rd graders receive the "Good News Bible" which is one of the best Bibles for use by our children because it is written in modern simple language. The 6th graders will be receiving the "New Revised Standard Version Student Study Bible." This Bible with study notes specifically for youth, is am important tool for them as they begin their catechatical studies. We encourage them to read their Bible at home as well as to bring it along with them to Sunday School and Confirmation Classes.

Confirmation: Trinity offers confirmation class for youth ages 6th - 8th grade. Classes are taught on Wednesay nights, September - May. Youth meet at 5:45 for pizza before classes begin at 6:00 p.m.

Trinity's Confirmation instruction is a three year learning experience for our middle-school age youth. The primary purpose of Trinity's Confirmation Ministry is two-fold:

1. To help our young people prepare theselves for a public affirmation of the faith in which they were baptized (confirmation)
2. To train our young people to be leaders in and for the church

Day Camp: Join Trinity's 5-day camp program that includes crafts, music, worship, games, Bible Study, fellowship, field trips, sharing, and recreation. Day Camp is staffed by volunteers from Trinity and summer counselors from Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in Hillside, CO. Trinity's camp is the last week of June every year.
