Lifelight Bible Study
7:00 pm in the conference room
Lifelight finished its study on the books of Ruth & Esther in May and will resume its study in September on prophecy in the Bible. The study of Prophecy examines Old Testament promises and the fulfillment of those promises in the New Testament, the School of Prophets, the end of the world, and much more. Speak with Bob Dugan for class materials and join us on Monday nights in the Conference Room at 7pm starting September 20th.

World Issues Book Group

The World Issues Book Group will NOT meet in August. We will meet on September 14th at Trinity at 3:00 pm to discuss Trails of Hope and Terror by Miguel A. De La Torre.
De La Torre, the son of an undocumented immigrant and now a U.S. citizen and a professor of Christian ethics, seeks to develop a constructive conversation on immigration by examining significant issues and by presenting first-person accounts of the experiences of immigration. His goal is to initiate a civil conversation that can replace the politics of fear that now dominates discussions of immigration. Contact the church office for more information.

The first meeting of the Afternoon Circle for 2010 will be held on Wednesday, Setpember 1st, at 1:30 pm. We will be following the Bible study found in Lutheran Women Today magazine. Call the office for more information and directions to the meeting. Please join us.

When is the last time you studied the Lord's Prayer, the Creed, the 10 Commandments, Holy Baptism, and the Lord's Supper? Confirmation class? How long ago was that? You never went to Confirmation classes?
A number of people have been asking if we would host a Confirmation Class for adults. Starting September 8th we will host such a class as a review for those who have and those who have not been through Confirmation. More information to come...

Men, start your day out with a good breakfast, good fellowship, and good discussion. We meet every Thursday at 7 am. We take turns cooking for each other and Pastor Mark leads us in a study of the upcoming Sunday lessons. It's a great time, so join us!

Page Two in Gunbarrel
All men and women are invited to join an issues discussion group meeting on Thursday mornings, 9:15 - 11:15 am, at Page Two, a coffee shop next door to King Soopers on Road - Gunbarrel. The process is designed to be open-ended and free-wheeling. Pastor Gene is there to assist the process as we look at faith issues and public life. We are currently doing a book study on the book "God is Back". Questions, contact the church office. Please join us!
